A Vision Comes to Life: The Birth of the Wellness Committee
The Beekley Wellbeing Committee officially came into being in late 2024, following years of consideration and feedback from our internal customer base. Led by our Corporate Wellness and Event Coordinator, Amy Goulet, the committee quickly found its stride, bringing together a diverse team of associates to build a robust foundation for wellness at work.
In January 2025, the committee shared its official mission:
"To foster a workplace culture which prioritizes the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of every Beekley associate through a diverse range of wellness initiatives. We strive to empower our associates to achieve a healthy work/home life balance, enhance their overall quality of life, and reach their full potential."
This mission reflects the shared belief that a thriving work culture begins with empowered, healthy individuals.
Aligning Wellness with Our Core Values

Planning impactful wellness events is no small task. From coordinating annual Wellness Fairs to organizing CPR certification classes, Amy scours local fairs, state agencies, and non-profit organizations to bring diverse resources to Beekley.
The Wellness Fair is a vibrant example of the program’s range. It features local gyms, massage and physical therapists, mental health experts, clean skincare brands, holistic practitioners, and even vaccination clinics.
With the Wellbeing Team’s support, programming is now more inclusive and relevant than ever, with surveys used to gather input and gauge interest from the entire associate base.
Everyday Wellness That Makes a Difference
While large-scale wellness events are important, Beekley Medical also prioritizes daily wellness opportunities that support consistent, accessible self-care. Beekley Medical offers a range of daily wellness amenities designed to support consistent and accessible self-care.
Associates can take advantage of the on-site fitness room for convenient workouts throughout the day or enjoy a relaxing break using the massage chair to relieve stress and tension. Nearly every day, Amy thoughtfully plans lunch options that promote good nutrition and healthy eating habits.
Additionally, the Wellness Reward program reimburses associates annually for wellness-related expenses, including gym memberships, Weight Watchers, yoga classes, and fitness apps. These everyday touches help make wellness a routine part of the Beekley experience.

Amy is looking forward to exploring emerging trends in holistic healing, natural medicine, and sustainable living, with the Wellbeing Team continuing to guide programming based on associate interests and needs.
