In CT and MR imaging, preparation protocols play a critical role in the success of an exam. Whether you are performing a small bowel study or a diagnostic CT of the abdomen pelvis that requires oral iodinated contrast, the ability for patients to comfortably complete their prep can directly impact image quality, workflow efficiency, and patient satisfaction. When patients struggle with taste or volume, technologists often experience the consequences through delays, incomplete studies, or the need for repeat imaging.
Breeza flavored beverages were developed to help address these challenges. While both products are designed to improve drinking compliance, they are not interchangeable. One formulation, Breeza® for Small Bowel Distention comes in two flavors (lemon-lime or mixed berry) and is designed specifically to support small bowel distention studies. The other, Breeza® Flavored Beverage for use with Oral Iodinated Contrast is intended to be used with oral iodinated contrast for diagnostic CT exams and comes in one flavor, tropical fruit, to help make the prep easier for patients to tolerate.
Not sure which Breeza solution best fits your imaging protocols? Answer the three quick questions below to find the option that aligns with the exams you perform most often.
