Clinical Aromatherapy: An Expanding Market, A Growing Team

The Elequil Aromatabs team at an eventAs the demand for non-pharmacological nursing interventions continues to grow, so has our Elequil Aromatabs® team.  United by a shared passion to improve the patient experience, they're on a mission to make clinical aromatherapy an integral part of healthcare.

Melissa Vibberts the Director of Brand Management for Elequil AromatherapyLeading the charge is Melissa Vibberts, our Director of Brand Management. Melissa is the driving force behind the success of the Elequil Aromatabs product line.

Melissa came to Beekley Medical 19 years ago as a product manager with an extensive marketing background. Melissa's master’s degree in Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing from FIT, combined with her previous experience at the Estee Lauder Companies, makes her a perfect fit for this role.

Melissa has a passion for the purity of aromatherapy, inspired by a memorable trip to Grasse, France, recognized worldwide as the capital of flowers, aromas, and perfumes, where she strolled through lavender fields and observed the process of essential oil distillation. She finds her work incredibly rewarding, especially when she hears about the positive impact Elequil Aromatabs aromatherapy has on patients, healthcare workers, and their families.

Meet the Certified Aromatherapists:

Partnering with Melissa on growing the clinical aromatherapy market from almost the beginning is Laura Smith, who became Beekley’s first certified aromatherapist. She is also the creator of the brand's newest aromas, lavender-peppermint and orange-ginger. Laura understands Elequil's significant impact on patient care firsthand and is enthusiastic about educating healthcare professionals about its benefits, presenting at several conferences, most recently the OR Leadership Summit and FSARN. Laura, Grace, and Laurel our Certified Aromatherapists

In addition to Laura, both Laurel Flanagan and Grace McCann are also certified aromatherapists.  Laurel Flanagan is a passionate advocate for patient care and often cites one of her most memorable experiences when a stranger approached her during an in-person meeting to share how Elequil Aromatabs had significantly improved their own life and the lives of their patients.  She described the experience as incredibly humbling, emphasizing, “It’s moments like these that remind me why I do what I do—it’s not just about selling a product, but about making a real difference in people's lives.”

Grace came to Beekley Medical with a passion for holistic wellness and finds great fulfillment in hearing directly from customers about how essential oils have positively transformed their patient care and improved staff well-being.

Government Accounts Transforming Our Veterans' Care

Susan Murray, Government Accounts for Elequil AromatherapyServing our government accounts is Susan Murray. Coming from a military family herself, Sue is passionate about addressing the unique needs of veterans and military personnel. She is deeply committed to ensuring that those who served receive compassionate, holistic care. Her personal goal is to provide Elequil Aromatabs to every veteran in need of comfort.

Due to the outstanding work of these pioneers in our aromatherapy market, it became apparent that we needed to expand the size of our sales team to meet the growing demand in markets outside of our traditional verticals of medical imaging and radiation oncology.
